Nursing support is always on, which means you’re not chasing obs, dressings, or paperwork yourself. You stay focused on clinical decisions. The case mix is consistent. Generally category 4–5 presentations, so you keep variety without the pressure of high acuity work. What You’ll Be Doing Managing urgent care presentations within Category 4–5 scope Treating acute, non-life-threatening conditions Working alongside nurses to keep patient flow steady Making clear calls on treatment, discharge, or escalation What You Need FRACGP or FACRRM with Specialist Registration Experience in ED or urgent care settings Confidence managing acute presentations independently Willingness to commit to regular shifts This is a flexible urgent care role in Launceston with strong hourly rates, defined scope, and proper support.
